Choose Your Good
At Aultman, we’re dedicated to caring for our community members and leading our community to improved health – but we can’t do it alone. The gifts of generous supporters – like you – help us to support our patients and their families during their time of need, educate a new generation of leaders in healthcare and bring innovative technologies to the area. And these initiatives are just the beginning of the work that our supporters enable us to accomplish.
With your help Together, We Can improve the lives of neighbors in need. When you make a gift to The Aultman Foundation, you can be sure that every dollar of your contribution is designated to a program of care that you choose. Your support enhances programs and services at Aultman, and in turn, helps patients and their families who benefit from the care they receive.

Area of Greatest Need
Health care changes rapidly and so do the needs of Aultman Hospital. Designating your gift to the area of greatest need allows Aultman to utilize the money in the program or service that needs it most.
Aultman Ambassador Program
The Aultman Ambassador Program provides an opportunity to empower local high school students to engage peers, families and communities in promoting healthy lifestyles aimed at reducing obesity and increasing physical activity. A gift to this program is a gift to local youth which provides scholarship opportunities, resume building activities, and helps to instill long-term healthy lifestyle habits at a pivotal age.
Aultman Cancer Center
With your support of the Cancer Center, you are advancing Aultman’s superior care to an even greater level. We diagnose and treat about 1,500 cases annually, a number that validates our experience and the region's confidence in our ability to provide comprehensive cancer care close to home.
The 1892 Scholarship commemorates Aultman’s rich legacy of nursing education. The first graduate of the Aultman School of Professional Nursing was in 1892, the same year Aultman Hospital opened its doors. Gifts from our generous alumni, friends and community members have helped this fund grow so that each year scholarships are given for both academic merit and financial need. Aultman Hospice and Compassionate Care Center
Hospice is care designed to provide comfort for people with life-threatening illnesses such as end-stage heart disease, ALS, cancer and Alzheimer's disease. Aultman Hospice provides support to help patients and their families make the most of each remaining day of life. The Compassionate Care Center is Stark County's first inpatient hospice center. It is located on the Aultman Woodlawn campus in Canton. Supporting Aultman Hospice is a thoughtful way to honor or memorialize a loved one, while enabling Aultman to provide valuable services for people in need.
Aultman Orrville Hospital
Contributions to Aultman Orrville Hospital are directed to programs and services administered at our Wayne County hospital campus. Aultman Orrville Hospital is a 25-bed critical access facility that has been serving Orrville and the Wayne County community for more than 60 years.
Deuble Heart Center
The Deuble Heart Center constantly strives to provide excellence in health care. As a result, we have been recognized for our work and continue to be a leader in the field. The Aultman Heart Center offers a full range of noninvasive and invasive procedures. Did you know that Aultman performs twice as many heart procedures as the other Stark County hospitals combined?
Patient CancerCare Fund
The CancerCare Fund assists with expenses such as transportation, groceries, nutritional supplements, prescription assistance, medical supplies (e.g., prosthetics, lymphedema supplies, etc.) and other costs often associated with cancer treatment. You can offer much-needed support for people diagnosed with cancer through donations to this fund.
Women and Infant Programs
Your support of the Aultman women and infant programs benefits several areas, including our birth center, Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU), pregnancy and infant loss, safe sleep education, genetic counseling, lactation services and reproductive gynecology.
Pregnancy and Infant Loss
Tangible items are so important to those that experience a pregnancy or infant loss. Our bereavement program provides these tangible items to our families such as memory books, hand and foot moldings, pamphlets with resources, blankets, outfits, books for siblings and photo albums. Your donations would help us continue our goal of providing each family with the resources they need in order to begin their walk through the grief process.
Every week in Ohio, three babies die in unsafe sleep environments. These deaths are preventable! We are committed to doing everything we can so these babies can celebrate their first birthdays. At Aultman, safe sleep is extremely important. We're providing Halo Sleep Sacks for new babies and the book “Sleep Baby Safe and Snug” for the parents.
Aultman’s state-of-the-art 25-bed Level III Newborn Intensive Care Unit provides advanced treatment for fragile and critically ill newborns, based on the latest research. Our NICU prides itself on the highest quality of multidisciplinary care through an integrated and collaborative team approach to optimize patient outcomes and quality of life. Aultman’s specially-designed, individual patient rooms encourage family-centered patient care which places the family as the pivotal role in the newborn’s life and encourages the parents to actively participate in care throughout their baby’s stay.
