2018 Angel Auction
A record-breaking number of guests spent an evening on safari as the Canton Civic Center was transformed into the plains of Africa. On May 11, 546 guests celebrated the 49th annual Angel Auction - Splendors of the Serengeti. We are proud to announce the event raised more than $540,000 in net revenue to support the Women's Board's $900,000 pledge to the Xenex Germ Zapping Robots and the modernization of the orthopaedic unit at Aultman Hospital.
Women's Board members, guests and volunteers enjoyed a wild evening of fabulous entertainment, delicious dinner catered by Brookside Country Club and hundreds of unique live and silent auction items. In addition to the imaginative entertainment, two exciting prizes were raffled off this year - both, something for him and something for her.
The success of this year's event is not only due to the Women's Board's commitment to Aultman Hospital and its patients, but because of the support of generous donors. We'd like to extend our gratitude to event chairs Jennifer Clark and Ann McCabe, as well as their dedicated team of volunteers who helped to make the auction a success.
