2019 Angel Auction
A record-breaking number of attendees packed the Canton Memorial Civic Center on Friday, May 10 to celebrate The Women's Board of Aultman Hospital's 50th Annual Angel Auction. The golden anniversary celebration focused on appreciating, commemorating and celebrating the compassionate, caring women who give their time and talents so generously. These special ladies raise funds to provide the very best care to our patients and to make Aultman Hospital a state-of-the-art health care facility. We are proud to announce that the event raised more than $620,000, the largest net revenue to date!
Women's Board members, guests and volunteers enjoyed a fabulous evening of "50 years and $25 million reasons" to celebrate, with a stage presentation of past presidents and auction chairs, a delicious dinner catered by Brookside Country Club, and the opportunity to bid on hundreds of unique live and silent auction items. This year, the Women's Board of Aultman Hospital is aiming to raise $1.2 million to fund their '50 for 50 Pledge,' supporting 50 items within several hospital departments including surgery, oncology, the emergency department, therapy, housekeeping, maintenance, medical education and more!
The success of this year's event is not only due to the Women's Board's commitment to Aultman Hospital and its patients, but because of the support of strong, generous donors in our community. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to event chairs Shannon English-Hexamer and Vicky Sterling, as well as their dedicated team of volunteers who helped to make the auction, yet again, a record-breaking success.
